In 2022, fresh off the challenges of a global pandemic, The Working Assembly team sought a creative escape to re-energize their creative spirits. The journey led to Stone Ridge, NY, just off Route 209, where they discovered Cherries — a classic ice cream shop looking for a new owner to continue its legacy. For the past two summers, The Working Assembly team has fostered a community, revitalized a neighborhood icon, and mastered the secret to a perfect soft-serve swirl (hint: it's all in the shoulder, not the wrist).
