The Working Assembly is an award-winning design-led creative agency based in New York City and working globally. Our multi-disciplinary teams collaborate with emerging and evolving brands on strategically driven branding, campaigns, and experiences. As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of projects and industries, from fast-growth startups to evolving household names.

We are currently seeking a Digital/UX Design Intern to join our team for the Summer. As part of the team you will learn to create engaging websites while learning the principles of UX/UI and best practices while bringing your designs to life through prototyping and testing. Supporting in the creation of cohesive brand toolkits, functional component libraries and brand systems that will help craft a strong digital experience for our clients and their audience. You will participate in working with cross-functional teams, including strategists, developers, and project managers, to help deliver strong creativity and solicit feedback from other team members to improve work. Curiosity, communication, and attention to detail are keys to success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Thoughtful design aesthetic with a strong eye for layout, color, and typography
  • Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • You understand responsive layout, color, and typography and know how to build a unique home for brands on screens.
  • Capable of working independently but also able to collaborate across disciplines to design fresh brand experiences.
