We’re looking for a Photo/Video Production Studio and Office Management Intern at the Working Assembly (TWA)!

As we’re building our own in-house Photo/Video Studio, we’re looking for someone to join our team and eager to learn from the process! Ideally, this person wants to grow within a Creative Agency and learn how to manage and assist our Production and Operations team on all Photo/Video studio projects, Office Management and Rental needs. This person’s role will be hybrid between TWA Photo / Video Studio and TWA Office.

Key Characteristics:

  • Highly organized and keeps a well maintained to-do list 
  • Has ownership on all of their responsibilities
  • Not afraid to ask questions, but independent enough to try and problem solve beforehand
  • Quick on their feet to problem solve for any last minute needs that may come up

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or in-progress degree (ideally, in a creative or communication field)
  • Knowledge of creative programs (Adobe Creative Suite, CaptureOne) and Photo/Video Equipment (ideally)
  • Based in New York
  • In-Office 5 days/week (we’re located near Union Square)
  • Available for occasional weekend support with advanced notice

Roles & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Photo / Video Studio Build Support (January to February 2025 only):

  • Managing and be available for purchases and deliveries for EQ / Furniture etc 
  • Assisting with builds and needs around builds

Production Team Photo / Video Shoots Support:

  • Assisting with shoot set-up and wrap
  • Assisting with budget guidelines
  • Managing schedules
  • Managing catering
  • File (jpgs, raws, video, etc) management and organization
  • Inventory (hard drives, prop & EQ) management and organization
  • Be available for last minute needs

Photo / Video Studio Day-to-Day Management & Operations:

  • Managing bookings / schedules (for in-house shoots, external client shoots, and external renters, occasional weekend support)
  • Managing purchases & deliveries
  • Managing cleaning team
  • Ensure Photo / Video Studio always looks it’s best ie. plants, dishwasher, wire management, EQ management (we have a full cleaning crew), etc
  • Be available for last minute needs

TWA Agency Office Rental Support:

  • Manage bookings / schedules for renters within the Agency office space
  • Occasional weekend support for renters (both at TWA office and Photo / Video Studio space)

Compensation & Hours: $18/hr, 40hrs/week
